Riverlake is looking for minimum two experienced Tanker Shipbrokers to develop a Tanker desk to be based in Rotterdam.

You are fluent in at least English and Dutch.
What will you do?
Typically in line with shipbroker(s) duties, you will be responsible for the negotiation and chartering of contracts, on Spot and on Time Charter depending on your experience across the world. You will be in daily contact with customers, and of course develop new contacts. But more than that, you will bring in and develop new ideas and above all we will ask you to run the desk.

We are looking for our Rotterdam office for Shipbroker(s) (m/f)
You will be responsible for negotiating and fixing spot cargoes on various routes within the inland tanker barge market. You will be in daily contact with our clients, such as oil & chemical companies, trading houses, and barge owners.
These tasks typically include:
You have at least an MB0 or equivalent level of training, preferably in a maritime or logistics environment. You have proven commercial skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and a professional knowledge of Dutch and English, with German as preference. You are self-reliant and like to work in a team where communication is fundamental. Knowledge of our customer’s industry in general (oil & chemicals) and maritime industry will give you an advantage. Ideally, you have 2 to 5 years of professional experience.
