Wind is back — and we’re fixing it

As brokers, we’re regularly chartering vessels equipped with wind sails or rotor systems. What started as a niche is quickly becoming part of the market.

We’ve already arranged multiple tanker fixtures with wind-assisted propulsion — not as a concept, but as real deals getting done. Owners are investing. Charterers are asking. And we’re right in the middle, making it happen.

As an example and as reported by Julian Bray from TradeWinds in its last weekly edition, https://lnkd.in/eJJ2Mfy7, we recently chartered another 50’000 dwt tanker assisted with high-tech wind sails. It shows how quickly these setups are moving into everyday shipping reality.

For us, it’s simple: if there’s a smarter, more efficient, lower-emission way to move cargo, we’ll fix it.

And honestly, it’s just getting started.
