Riverlake has wrapped up the Metocean and Soil Data Collection services supporting the development of a CBM system and associated pipelines.
Building on the successful delivery of the Pre-FEED for an offshore tanker mooring and offloading solution for SOCIR SA near Muanda, DR Congo earlier this year—where the CBM concept emerged as the optimal configuration—Riverlake was subsequently mandated to manage the onshore and offshore Site Data Collection scope near the estuary of the mighty Congo river.
This encompassed Contractor selection and end-to-end management of the Meteorological & Oceanographic (Metocean) and Geotechnical survey packages.
Our team developed comprehensive technical specifications and procedures covering Metocean, Topographic, Bathymetry, and onshore/offshore Geotechnical campaigns, and drove a competitive tendering process to closure. All milestones were achieved on schedule and within budget, enabling survey execution to kick off before year-end.
This engagement underscores Riverlake’s ability to de-risk early-stage Tank Farm and Terminal infrastructure development and create actionable pathways for clients looking to expand and diversify their onshore and offshore assets.
With this phase now successfully closed out, we look forward to continuing our role as Project Management Consultants on this strategic build-out.
